Scotson wins Merv Dean Memorial 3-Day Tour of Bendigo

Miles Scotson won the 2012 Merv Dean Memorial 3-day Senior Tour held in Bendigo over the Queen's Birthday long weekend of 9-11 June. Finishing in second place in Stage 1, Scotson claimed victories in Stage 2 and Stage 3 to win the General Classification by 24 seconds. This is a terrific result for an outstanding young cycling talent and young man. Congratulations Miles!
In other great news for South Aussies at this Tour, Robert-Jon McCarthy finished in 6th place overall at 52 seconds behind Scotson. Well done Robbie!
