The Father’s Day Challenge is back for a second year in a new and exciting format. This year the event’s focus will be on criterium racing at the well known Heffron Park, Maroubra on Sunday, 2nd September. There will be races for ages U13 (combined) through to the Open Men’s and Women’s categories.
The Father’s Day Challenge is a charity event supporting two charities local to the race venue; Supported Living Network and Eastern Respite and Recreation. Both charities focus is on supporting people with a disability, along with their family and friends.
As well as the criterium races, Heffron Park will be set up in a carnival like atmosphere with food stalls, entertainment, a family challenge, corporate and celebrity challenge. This day will be a fantastic outing for the whole family whilst getting in some racing and supporting a good cause.
