In the Men’s competition, 46 riders engaged in a Battle Royale on the dusty Fort William track which was cut up badly in places and fairly unstable underneath.

Australian rider Jared Graves took out the event ahead of Joost Wichman and Dan Atherton.

Randal finished a creditable 22nd.

Sarsha Huntington then took on the ladies’ race which included eventual winner, Jana Horakova.

Sarsha finished 8th in a field of 16.
